Fred Bertrand has sold his flower shop in the Palace hotel to Miss Delfina Eiley. Some seven years ago Miss Eiley was with Julius Eppstein and she is well remembered by the trade. One of the new proprietress' first acts was to change the appearance of the attractive store by giving it a novel effect with draperies. Against a heavy, plush back- ground, of a neutral, tan color, Miss Riley arranged masses of ornamental fruit blossoms and other spring flowers. Mr. Bertrand says that he is preparing to branch out, but is not ready to make an announcement.
