Sandra Birgitte Toksvig, British-Danish writer, broadcaster and political activist, co-founded the Women's Equality Party in 2015. The People's Vote march took place in London on 23 March 2019 as part of a series of demonstrations to protest against Brexit, call for a new referendum, and ask the British Government to revoke Article 50. It brought to the capital hundreds of thousands of protestors, or over a million people according to the organizers.
