(No further information.) Fourteen specimens. Remarks. I have examined a large series of examples of this species, which is common off South Georgia. The number of thoracic chaetigers varies between 11 and 14, but the greater part have 13 thoracic chaetigers. The appearance of the gills on the 6th chaetiger is an almost constant character: in one specimen examined they begin on the 9th chaetiger. The three rows of spines in the ventral rami of the thoracic feet are also constant in my specimens. I find no capillary bristles in the ventral thoracic rami. Forked bristles are present in the abdominal region. Aricia ohlini, Ehlers, with its 19 or 20 thoracic segments, is a very closely allied species. Aricia michaelseni, Ehlers.
