Marine veteran Cpl. Nicholas Green launches the shot-put pall during field practice for the 2012 Warrior Games at the Air Force Academy sports field Colorado Springs, Colo., April 26. Green, from Media, Pa., lost his leg from a gunshot wound received by an armed robber. The Warrior Games is a competition between wounded warriors from all military branches and includes swimming, track and field, cycling, shooting, archery, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball.
