He then went furtheraway, and gained some valuable experi-ence with Silver, Wilcolf & Spring-field, Mass., and with A. F. Clark & Co.,Bridgeport, Conn. It was during thistime that Mr. Munday was engaged insome important work for the UnitedStates Government. Retracing his stepsMr. Munday worked for Butterworth &Co. and McKinley & Northwood, bothof Ottawa. He then set up for himselfin Montreal about eight years ago, and. Mr. Munday throws a considerableamount of energy into all he does,whether it is work or play, and thethorough way in which he has identifiedhimself with the interests of the Na-tional and Local Associations convincedthe delegates this year that in selectingHarry Munday as secretary they weresecuring the right man. He has beenchairman of the Apprenticeship Com-mittee of the local association for aboutfour years, and as chairman of the En-tertainment Committee, managing twoballs held by the Montreal Master Plum-bers, he was mainly instrumental inmaking them the success that they were.
