Cape Town, South Africa. July 16,2024: The container ship KOTA SINGA is a regular on sea route between Asia & African West Atlantic coast. The large vessel is currently passing the Cape of Good Hope. The geopolitical situation in Red Sea, marked by Houthi attacks on merchant ships in Bab Al-Mandab Strait, has led to a disruption of international maritime traffic (partially diverted towards Horn of Africa) & a surge in freight rates between Asia & Europe/Maghreb.
