The Market. Business iiiiproved coiisicU'rably last week and, stock being rather scarce just before Easter, the market cleaned iij) fairly well with the exception of bulb- ous stock. It seems as if every grower in the vicinity is loaded with bulbous stock and, consecjuently, the market h:is been flooded with it, which makes it difficult to get any kind of satisfac- tory price for it. Easter business was exceptionally good and all roses, viok'ts, sweet })eas and valley cleaned up. The demand was much greater than the supply. There was a bad fshortage of all corsage blooms; in fact, it was rather unlooked-for and caught most of the wliolesalers with a supply not nearly sufficient to take care of the demand.
