San Vincenzo Ferreri church in the Ragusa Hybla Town, Sicily
Established in 1509 by the Dominican friars of St. Vincent Ferrer Church today looks different than it was at its origin, this because of the severe damage caused not only by the 1693 earthquake but also to the changes that took place during the '900; However, the earthquake is not destroyed completely and this made it possible to keep the center aisle to the detriment of the side as well as reflected in the emerging wall structures from the northern and southern walls of the complex. The church was attached to a convent which was demolished following the opening of the driveway to ibleo garden, also in the 50s of last century was built next to a school that was later also demolished in order to strengthen and consolidate the stability of the building. After a few years of neglect that saw even the collapse of the roof, in 2004 were started restoration work with the transformation into an auditorium with 140 seats.
