President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a ceremony in Istanbul's Saraçhane Square to commemorate those killed during the July 15, 2016 defeated coup. Since the Coup attempt, July 15 has been designated as the "Democracy and National Unity Day"
