The Ferrari 488 (Type F142M) is a mid-engine sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. The car replaced the 458, being the first mid-engine Ferrari to use a turbocharged V8 since the F40. It was succeeded by the Ferrari F8. he Ferrari 488 Challenge is a true performance machine, and its engine is a big part of what makes it so special. At its heart is a turbocharged V8 engine with an impressive 670 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque. This engine has been specially tuned for racing, including a new intake system, redesigned camshafts, and a freer-flowing exhaust. The result is an engine that is both incredibly powerful and highly responsive, with plenty of torque available throughout the rev range. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that provides lightning-fast shifts and precise control, making it easy for drivers to extract maximum performance from the car. Regarding performance, the Ferrari 488 Challenge is a true track weapon. Thanks to its advanced aerodynamics and lightweight construction, the car is able to corner and brake with incredible precision and stability. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just seconds and has a top speed of over 200 mph. The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, smaller in displacement but generating a higher power output than the 458's naturally aspirated engine.
