It is also taller than the common and yields a heavier crop of hay. For a crop of seed sow 12 to 15 pounds per acre; for hay, 25 to 30 pounds. Annual. Per lb., 7c; 100 lbs., $ HUNGARIAN. A valuable species of Dwarf Millet. It is an annual and must be sown every year. It is finer than the Common and German Millets; produces a closer stand, and yields as much per acre as the taller var^^e- ties. The hay, being finer, is preferred by stock, and there is less waste in feeding. It will yield well on any light, loose soil, and requires less moisture to mature a profitable crop than most other leading a:rasses. Twenty-five to 30 younds per acre will se- cure a good stand.
