This annual campaign aims to focus efforts on educating both and Okinawan communities regarding factors that lead to drunk and drugged driving, while its overall goal remains to reduce the number of incidents. “I think it’s a great campaign that benefits our Marines, sailors, soldiers and airmen,” said Nicholson, commanding general, III Marine Expeditionary Force and the Okinawa Area Coordinator. “It’s critically important that each and every day we be good citizens of this island and good representatives of our nation.” Other members of the OACC signing were Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Joaquin F. Malavet, commanding general, Marine Corps Installations Pacific; Air Force Brig. Gen. Barry Cornish, commanding general, 18th Wing; Navy Capt. Michael D.
