#Demo2012 was a student march through Central London, organised by the National Union of Students which took place on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. NUS expected 10,000 would travel to London for the march, but only 5,000 turned out onto the blustery, cold and wet London streets. Scuffles broke out between Police and protesters outside the Houses of Parliament when some tried to remain on Westminster Bridge. Later, a rally at Kennington Park was called off after The NUS president, Liam Burns, has been pelted with eggs and fruit.
