The mucous flap assumes achannel-like form, and it may be wise to draw the edges together witha stitch or two, in order to form a sort of tube over the catgut strands. 596 PLASTIC SURGERY This is an excellent operation and with modifications is well worthtrying (Figs. 698-699).
