Sled dogs, Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland
Greenland's more than 30,000 sled dogs are the unsung victims of global warming, having lost their jobs in many areas where receding ice makes it impossible to take summer tourists on sleigh rides from coastal towns such as Qeqertarsuaq. Although these dogs appear in good shape, many have been left to starve, Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland.
