View SE of the two gateposts & low collapsed drystone walls of a Bronze Age field on East Moor, Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, England, UK. Rather than a hinged gate, the entrance gap, wide would have been closed by a simple timber hurdle to stop cattle but allow pedestrian access. Part of a 2nd millennium BC complex of rectangular fields & circular houses (hut circles). Also part of a reave system of Bronze Age land division & management on Bodmin Moor. This is the same field as in image CS8178M, ESE of Altarnun Nine Stones stone circle.
