A group of airmen from the 127th Wing, Michigan Air National Guard at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Michigan, return from Europe following exercise Air Defender 23. Air Defender 23 was the largest air force deployment exercise in NATO's history, training and testing readiness and operational capability in the event of a crisis. The focus at Air Defender 23 was optimizing and expanding cooperation among participating nations.
