The same exhibitor had also splendid vases of Lady Hillingdon and Killamey. H. M. Bobinson & Co. showed fine Mme. Rus- sell. Dahlias were, as usual, largely shown. W. D. Hathaway, of New Bed- ford, was the largest and most suc- cessful exhibitor of these. Others in- cluded Geo. H. Walker, A. E. Johnson, Sisson & Thurston, J. K. Alexander, James Bobertson and F. L. Tinkham. There were 80,000 paid admissions on President's day, October 3. John Davie, of Dedham, is shipping fine Kalb chrysanthemums and candy- tuft to W. H. Carr, at the Boston Flower -Exchange. Herman Waldeeker, of Braintree, has excellent single vio- lets and nephrolepis ferns, handled by the same salesman. F. J. Dolansky, of Lynn, is cutting a fine crop of Chrysanthemum La Bosiere. He now has Cattleya labiata in heavy crop, but the flowers are moving well. J. B. Shield, of North Woburn, is in the market with high grade carnations, and is just finishing a successful aster season. The stock is handled by J. M. Oohen, at the Boston Cooperative Market.
