Saturn, Cassini View, Annotated

An annotated composite image of Saturn, taken from the far side of the planet by the Cassini-Huygens Space Probe. Visible in this view of Saturn are seven of its moons, it's inner rings, and distant Venus, Mars and Earth. The image spans about 404,880 miles across, and uses 141 of the 323 images that Cassini was able to capture in just over four hours on July 19, 2013. It is the third time our home planet was imaged from the outer solar system, the second time it was imaged by Cassini from Saturn's orbit, and the first time that inhabitants on Earth were made aware that their picture would be taken at such a great distance.
