Manufacturer : Model maker: anonymous place manufacture: Amsterdam (possible) Date: approx 1806 Physical features: timber material: wood Technique: polychromie Dimensions: h cm. B × cm. D × cm. ToelichtingDe historical information about the Lynx is confusing. There have been two corvettes with that name, one of 20 pieces built by P. Glavimans Jz. in Rotterdam in 1806 (sister ship of Venus, see NC-MC-336-1), and one of 28 pieces built by P. Schuijt Jr. in Amsterdam in 1816-1818. It is also possible that the model represents the brig Lynx 18 pieces, built in Vlissingen in : Lynx (ship)
