Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Training Squadron (HMLAT) 303, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, fly over Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California, Oct. 16, 2022. HMLAT-303 Marines and state, federal, and private agencies utilized long line external lift capabilities via UH-1Y Venom helicopters to conduct various resupply and search missions through a mountainous environment. Due to the rugged terrain, Marines of HMLAT-303 executed advanced landing techniques.
