His great physicalstrength and excellent health remained to him until withina few years of his death. His oldest son, John, inheritedthe original homestead in Duxbury, and was great-grand-father to the present occupant, John Alden of the eighthgeneration. Two hundred and thirty-five years ago, Pris-cilla Mullens Alden lived here, when this old house wasnew. To-day, a little child of this John, two years of age,is called Priscilla Mullens, the first namesake to occupy thehome of her great ancestress. rTTUrrrr-.
