Rouen, France - 30 May 2017; Rouen Cathedral is a magnificent Gothic Cathedral in Normandy, France. It dates back to the 4th century, but was destroyed by a Viking raid in the 9th Century. Construction of the current building dates from the 12th Century; it continued for over three centuries, interrupted by lightning strikes, fires and steeple collapses. This church is a survivor.
