Tanivet, Oaxaca, Mexico - Virtually all the men in this small village have left for the United States to find work. The women who remain have formed an artist coooperative, embroidering the story of their separation. They call themselves Las Hormigas Bordadoras de Tanivet (embroidering ants). A section of a large embroidery shows a migrant at the border fence praying: God help me cross this wall to arrive in the United States.
