Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. Armoured trench next to the Redipuglia ossuary. The Redipuglia trenches were part of the defensive back line on the Karst Plateau. They were built at the end of 1916 and in early 1917, after the conquest of Gorizia, when the front line was on the so-called Komen Karst.
