Sir James Robert George Graham (1792 – 1861) was a British statesman. He resigned from the government following reform of the Irish Church, eventually leaving the Whigs to become a Tory. When Robert Peel became Prime minister, Graham became Home Secretary and introduced a new Factories Bill which allowed children aged between 8 and 13 to work hours per day, with hours of education, and women and young persons a maximum of 12 hours each day.
