Hundreds of fans of the late Beatle, John Lennon gather in the Strawberry Fields section of Central Park on December 8, 2005 to memorialize the twentieth-fifth anniverary of Lennon's death. Lennon was shot outside his home in the Dakota Apartments by crazed gunman Mark David Chapman. The fans included people who remembered where they were on that night and many younger people who are not old enough to remember Lennon, a lasting tribute to his music. ( © Richard B. Levine)
