There have been several automobile companies and manufacturers in France named Rossel. This petrol car was made by the company founded by Edouard Rossel in Lille, France, in the 1890s. Its engines were based on, or under license from, the German automobile manufacturer Daimler. Rossel's company ceased manufacturing a few years after it was founded. Artwork from the first volume (1897) of 'La Revue Scientifique et Industrielle' by French chemist and inventor Jules-Louis Breton (1872-1940).
