Is early and turns white when ripe. Improved White Spine. Medium length, dark green, crisp, well flavored, prolific. Extra Long White Spine. Somewhat longer than the Peerless. Long-i Green. The lead- ing late Variety; 10 to 12 in. long, and of excellent qual- ity;" dark green firm and crisp. The young fruit is suitable for pickles, and when ripe for sweet pi«y'?s.
