Large, round, mottled, and striped in different shades of red; flavor and quality away above the average; appearance and size are its valuable points; always sells and always brings good prices. 1 yr. trees only. SMOKE HOUSE Comes into bearing moderate- ly young, it has a thin skin of yellow, striped with rather a dull red, and is very attractive. Ripens September 10th to 20th. 1 yr. trees only. NORTHWESTERN GREENING ous grower, quite hardy. Fruit large to very large; green, becoming yellowish-green when ripe; flesh yel- low, fine grained and firm; flavor a good sub-acid; very smooth and attractive. Ripens September 15th to 20th.
