As he continued to become a motivated and exceptionally well-rounded Marine, he was recently meritoriously promoted to corporal and also named 1st MLG Marine of the Year. “This is all really humbling,” said GomezHernandez, “This isn’t the end for me though, I still have bigger goals in mind.” GomezHernandez, from Tampa, Fla., says that the inspiration from his Navy JROTC mentor Sgt.
