Marine Major Ryan J. Nolan, assistant director of the “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band gives a presentation to band directors during the Music for All (MFA) Summer Symposium 2022 at Ball State University, Muncie, Ind., June 27, 2022. Nolan, a former educator himself, spoke to the attendees about what it means to "serve" and to "teach" and the impact each has on student musicians. He attended as part of Marine Corps Recruiting Command's partnership with MFA.
