Spiral galaxy NGC 4565 optical image. This is a type Sb galaxy, seen edge-on, in the constellation of Coma Berenices. The galaxy has a pronounced central bulge and a distinctive dusty outer disc. It is about 31 million light years away and thought to resemble our own Milky Way galaxy. Photographed by the Canada-France-Hawaii telescope on Big Island, Hawaii.
