As to the name, there are three differentwords, by which prophets are denominatedin fcripture -, namely, K^Ili Htn HK^ roeh,chozeh, nabhi, which are all found in one paf-fage, where we read of Samuel nXin haroeh,Nathan NllJn hannabhi, and Gad ntrin ha-chozeh(^). The word N^^i nabhi, is by fomederived from 5^12 bo venit, intimating tha^God came to the prophet by the divine Ezekiel faith, ml O ^<2m vattabo biruach, which we render, and the fpirit en-tered into me (^). Some light, perhaps, maybe hereby given to that remarkable promiife ofChrilt, If any man love me, he will keepmy words, and I and my father will love him,and we will come and make our abode withhim (c); namely by the continual influence ofthe fpirit on his heart.
