Dye and cleaning factory. Early 20th-century illustration of an industrial building known as Footer's Dye Works in Cumberland, Maryland, USA. This building was constructed in 1906. The company, which also carried out industrial-scale cleaning as well as dyeing, went bankrupt in 1936. Parts of the site had been demolished by the 1950s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. This artwork is by Fowler and Kelly, with lithography by Charles Hart.
