(1) The carapace is produced into a broadly rounded rostral plate. (2) The eye is rather more than iy2 times as long as broad, the peduncle is only two-fifths as wide as the eye is long, and the cornea occupies less than one-half of the eye. (3) The antennal scale (fig. 73, a) is 10 times as long as broad. (4) Sixth joint of the endopod of the third to the eighth thoracic limbs is divided into 7 to 11 joints. (5) Telson (fig. 73, c) triangular in shape, twice as long as broad at the base, apex truncate, one-fifth of the width of the telson.
