Phnom Penh - Garbage Dump Workers Supported By NGO
About 5,000 people live and work in the 2 garbage dumps around Phnom Penh, collecting aluminum which can be recycled. Of course, conditions are difficult, with health threats not to mention the stinky smell. Different NGOs try to help the children from the garbage dumps, providing them with education and training in order for them to be able to find a proper job.
