Norman Keep, Pevensey - a Ruined European Castle in England. A 19th century drawing.


Pevensey castle was built just after the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, on top of an earlier Roman fort. The Roman walls enclosed approximately seven acres of land inside the castle.
