Front View of the Kylas – Caves of Ellora

Ellora Caves: The caves are located in Marhashtra State in India and the site is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ‘caves’, 34 in number, are in fact man-made, carved into the face of the Charanandri Hills. The sculpted structures in the several different caves represent monastic and religious aspects of Buddhist, Hindu and Jain religions. The front view of the cave is shown, demonstrating the scale of the works and the ravages of despoilers and time.
