The Delft Blue sofa, made of pieces of blue shards, decorative and functional design at the Prinsenhof Garden, Delft, Netherlands. The Prinsenhof ( Prince's Court ) was an urban palace built in the Middle Ages, originally as a monastery. Later it served as a residence for William the Silent. The building still exists and now houses the municipal museum. William was murdered here in the Prinsenhof in 1584 by Balthasar Gerards. Prinsenhof Museum is situated at St. Agatha's Square in Delft. It belongs to the Top 100 of Dutch UNESCO monuments.
