He afterwards rallied somewhat,and surviving his successor in office, Mr. Canning, by six-teen months, he died at Fife House, Whitehall, London, on4 Dec, 1828, aged 58, and was buried at Hawkesbury, inGloucestershire, in the family vault, 18 Dec, 1828. Bucks, whosurvived him, and died at Norbiton Hall, Surrey, 18 Oct.,1846, aged 69. Leaving no issue by either marriage, he wassucceeded by his half-brother. Three-quarter length, stand-ing; full face. In black coat and white neckcloth and wearingthe Star of the Order of the Garter. On canvass 52 x 42 by Miss Lancaster Lucas of the portrait at Buxtedby Sir Thomas Lawrence, which portrait is similar tothe one
