Wind turbine assembly. Industrial workers using a crane and tethers to lift wind turbine components into place. The crane is 105 metres long and has a maximum capacity of 750 tonnes. The turbine tower consists of three sections: bottom (55 tonnes), middle (70 tonnes), and top (35 tonnes). The nacelle (houses all the generating components) is 75 tonnes, the hub is 24 tonnes. Each blade is 44 metres and weighs 7 tonnes. Photographed in 2012, in Hobro, Denmark.
