Before the outbreak of the World War in 1914,he was connected with several foreign literary and other societies, haswritten much for papers and magazines, and is the author of several books,several of which have been published mider the auspices of the New-Church Press, New York. Dr. Roeder is President of The Civics of Orange, Secretary of theNew-Church Press, a member of the New-Church Board of Publications;and, in the Clergy Club of New York, is on the Committees on Membershipand House and Rules. He is also a member of the Board of Governorsof the New England Society of Orange and connected with other organiza-tions.
