Pilgrim stamps his pilgrimage certificate (Credencial del Peregrino) in the check point placed in the local bakeshop (panadería) in the village of Peruscallo in Galicia, Spain. The French route of the Camino de Santiago goes through this village on the way from Barbadelo to Portomarín. The scallop shell, also known as the Shell of Saint James is depicted in the certificate as a traditional symbol of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
