A cinerary urn with lid, Villanova, 9th/8th century Black to dark brown earthenware. Characteristical shape with a single handle and flaring rim. Incised geometrical decoration of meanders, rectangles, hatched fields and bands of point and zigzag décor. Blossom shaped press marks. The lid rising to lance point form. Heigth of the urn 44 cm, heigth of the lid 25 cm. Restored and supplemented.
