Thousands of runners turned out to take part in the annual Great Scottish Run, running either 10k or half marathon, through the Glasgow city centre, across the Kingston Bridge over the River Clyde and finishing at Glasgow Green. The runners were cheered off by Colonel Dame Kelly Holmes who was this years Ambassador for the Run.
