Marble head of Germanicus (15BC-AD19) Roman. Germanicus was the son of Antonia Minor and grandson of Livia. He was the obvious heir to Tiberius but died on campaign in AD19. One of his children became the emperor Caligula (ruled AD 37-41) Christians broke the nose of the bust and carved a cross on the forehead.
