The Sutermeister Estate, of Beadville, had sold its entire batch of thousands of pans of tulips, narcissi and hyacinths ten days before Easter. The West Street Greenhouses, of Reading, are cutting a grand crop of double blue cornflowers, which net as much money as the best carnations. Carnations are looking fine, especially Benora, Beacon and White Wonder. They also have a good cut of calendulas and stocks. At Carbone's, plant trade is remark- ably good. Particularly good here are lilacs in both bush and standard form, acacias, deciduous flowering shrubs, rambler roses and rhododendrons.
