A mid-19th century plan of the proposed National Wallace Monument aka Wallace Monument, a 67 metre tower built in the Victorian Gothic style, on the shoulder of the Abbey Craig, a hilltop overlooking Stirling in Scotland commemorating Sir William Wallace, a 13th- and 14th-century Scottish hero. It was completed in 1869 to the designs of architect John Thomas Rochead.
