Pro-EU demonstrators in their tens of thousands flood Whitehall as the 'March for a People's Vote' heads the short distance from Pall Mall to Parliament Square. The march was organised by campaigners to call for the terms of the UK's eventual Brexit deal to be put before the British people in the form of a public vote. Exactly two years have now passed since Britain's deeply divisive referendum on EU membership, with the country due to leave the union in March 2019.
